October 18, 2005 New Climbing Wall!

The new Stanford Climbing Wall opened on October 17, 2005 at the Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation! We had a competion to celebrate the opening of the new wall (photos, results and credits).

The Stanford Climbing Gym is the product of hard work and persistence by several generations of Stanford students. The gym is a place for climbers of all abilities to share top-rope and bouldering skills.

Admission is free and we offer a beginner's introduction to belay technique. Unfortunately, we are required to restrict use of the gym to Stanford students, faculty and staff.
